IVKM has set itself the following mission: to make a contribution towards the professionalisation and emancipation of credit management in companies. The Institute for Credit Managers is a non-profit association and hence operates partly with volunteers. Administration, the practical organisation of activities, provision of publications and scientific coordination are all outsourced. The founders are experienced credit managers who are prepared to spend part of their spare time making this mission a reality. Chairman of the IvKM is LudoTheunissen, who is also responsible for practical organisation and scientific support.
